Advancing Zero-Shot Learning Through Semantic Embeddings and Cos-Shuffling
Developed a Zero-Shot Learning (ZSL) model using ResNet and semantic embeddings for unseen image classification on the AwA2 dataset.
Implemented a novel Cos-Shuffling technique using cosine similarity to improve model generalization and reduce overfitting.
Achieved 90.48% accuracy, outperforming existing ZSL benchmark methods.
DDoS Attack Detection and Mitigation using Machine Learning
Simulated DDoS attacks in a virtual network using Mininet and generated attack traffic with hping3 to create PCAP datasets.
Extracted network flow features using CICFlowMeter and selected top features using Random Forest for efficient attack detection.
Implemented unsupervised learning models (K-Means & BIRCH) to classify normal and malicious traffic, achieving 97% detection accuracy.
Designed a SHA-256 based client puzzle mechanism to restrict suspicious users and mitigate DDoS attacks.
